What would you do when the majority won't be on your side?

As a side note - most people aren't smart. I would be worried if the majority were on my side:)

Switching public schools is not going to help - I've had a chance to observe the best school in the state, and check what they teach, and wasn't impressed.

Switching countries seems to be too extreme a solution; there's also an option of home schooling - which seems to be rather popular nowadays.
