Левши, anyone?
Aug. 12th, 2003 01:54 pmПерепечатываю из baraban.com - похоже, это серьезно.
My name is Josh Flanagan, and I’m working for a TV show called Junkyard Wars, and we’re producing a program which places 3 international teams of 4 builders in a competition to build machines from spare parts in a junkyard. We’re doing an episode which involves building a Snow Vehicle that can climb a hill, move snow and tackle other obstacles.
I’m writing to find out if you would be interested in putting together a team, or might know of any individuals or organizations who could fabricate such a machine out of junk for our show. We’re looking for engineers, serious hobbyists, or anyone who can build this kind of thing. We’re planning on having 3 teams, one American, one British, and one Russian. We’ll fly the team to California and provide lodging for their stay here. The team would need to come to Los Angeles, California twice. Once at the beginning of September to build the machines, and once at the end of October to test the machines when we have snow.
For the Russian team we’re trying to find Russians who can manage this challenge, who live and work in the United States. If anyone you know might fit this description, please help me contact them. If you have any questions at all, please let me know. Thanks very much for your time. My phone number is 1-818-432-4667. My email is [email protected].
